Luz and Chad got married at Mildale Farm, which is an equestrian-style barn in Edgerton, KS with soaring beams, a center cupola, dormer windows, hand-laid brick floors, and a masterful wooden interior. It was such a fun wedding and even the chilly weather couldn’t dampen the day!

During the ceremony, they read their own vows. It was really emotional! They decorated the area with tea-lights hung from whimsical branches, which I just loved. They even had cute little winter-themed hand sanitizer favors set out on the tables! I had a wonderful time capturing their big day and LOVED the fun atmosphere during their reception. Their friends and family were out on the dancefloor with them all night long!

Luz wore a classic white dress with intricate lacework and Chad wore a grey suit with striking black detailing. They looked really amazing! Luz had the most magical shoes! They reminded me of something out of a fairytale! The couple got in touch with me last year, and their inquiry made me smile when they mentioned some of the foods they love to eat together. They said they wanted a photographer who knew how to capture love, and I loved that they were so relaxed and down to earth.
